I am one of those people that can hardly ever sit still. I am constantly thinking of places to go, things to see and just overall new adventures. I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit and knew that I wanted to run my own business ever since I was younger. How I came across the idea for my business was based off of one of the many things that I love to do which is get my family and friends together and visit all of the unique boutiques across the gorgeous Texas Hill Country as well as visit some of the Texas wineries. A day filled with wine, boutiques and good company is a great day!

I decided that success is doing something that you love while getting paid for it. That’s when I decided to take a leap of faith and open my boutique in October of 2014. I started out just online and within one year, I decided to go mobile. Once I get an idea in my head, I go full-force and all out. I woke up one morning and decided that I needed a trailer and asked my husband if he would help me find one. He just shook his head and said, “No, not today”. Well, I didn’t have time to wait so I went that very day and picked out a trailer, purchased it and had it wrapped within 3 weeks later. My husband still shakes his head. I have enjoyed every second of building my business and meeting new people in the process.

It has been one of the best adventures yet. One of the best aspects of Wildcatters is my family. They have been so helpful and supportive and I can’t thank them enough for everything that they have done.

The name Wildcatters came from my mom. After thinking of a million names for my boutique, she randomly said, “how about Wildcatters?” I said, “That sounds good” and the rest was history.
